Xbox: Microsoft's console system update arrives this week
, by Thibaut
The American manufacturer's machines are getting ready to receive some adjustments thanks to an update that will be rolled out this week. No incredible revolution on the horizon but rather slight additions that will significantly improve the user experience.
For instance, Xbox gamertags of Discord friends will appear on users' profiles during a voice conversation via a Discord channel. This will make it easier to add someone to our Xbox friends list.
Additional sorting options and filters will also be added to the Microsoft Store, through the Xbox.com site. Price, subscriptions, languages or accessibility options are on this list.
The Xbox Game Pass quests will also be easier to access thanks to a new "Rewards" tab. Finally, an update will be downloadable for the controllers. The patch fixes several issues, including fast discharge of external batteries and untimely disconnections when using headphones or playing in 4K at 120 FPS.
