This week's releases: from June 23 to 27, 2025

While there are many small releases coming to all platforms, it's Death Stranding 2 that's the most important one for the week.

Outrider Mako

  • June 23, 2025 on PC

Let's start with a 2D top-down action game. We play as Mako, who finds herself in the Mayoi world. To escape, she must collect seals and extract spiritual energy. Demanding battles are also on the agenda.

Wordatro!

Here's a highly addictive roguelite in which we're asked to combine letters to create words and score maximum points. You can string together combos, trigger bonuses and purchase some fifty upgrades to achieve the highest possible score.

Ninja Turtles - Splinter's Fate

Already available on almost all platforms, this cooperative action-roguelike featuring the famous Turtles finally arrives on Xbox. The aim is to take back control of New York's neighborhoods by mastering the skills of each character and teaming up with our friends.

Evercore Heroes: Ascension

Let's move on to this “Hero Roguelite”, playable cooperatively with up to three players. We're asked to build a well-balanced team to defend Evercore by carrying out missions across the world of Lumerea. Six heroes are available at release, and more than a dozen are already planned.

System Shock 2: 25th Anniversary Remaster

This FPS legend is back on all platforms. Nightdive Studios has included cross-platform multiplayer, mod support, quality-of-life improvements, 50 achievements and support for modern controllers. On the visual front, animations and models have been reworked. The game is also capable of running at up to 144 frames per second.

I Am Your Beast

Launched last September on PC, this thrilling FPS boasts a graphic style reminiscent of a comic book. This thriller also opts for micro-sandbox gameplay, and boasts a compelling story on the theme of revenge.

ToHeart

Released in the late ‘90s, Aquaplus’ visual novel is back with remastered scenes and new 3D animations. The whole thing is playable in 1080p, and additional voices (English, Chinese, Japanese) have been recorded.

Death Stranding 2: On the Beach

Kojima Productions' new game has finally arrived on Sony's console. Of course, this title follows on from the first Death Stranding released in November 2019. It finds Sam Bridges evolving in a post-apocalyptic open world as mysterious as ever. The action is more fluid in this opus, and our actions will influence the world of other players. The scenario promises to be fascinating!

Front Mission 3 Remake

The two captivating stories of this tactical RPG get a more modern look on Switch. Graphics and animations have been improved, as has the completely re-orchestrated soundtrack. A new “quick battle” mode makes its appearance, with the option of customizing the Wanzers' camouflage.

Persona5: The Phantom X

Initially only available on mobile devices, this spin-off from Persona 5 is now coming to our computers. A free download, this title invites us to take part in exciting turn-based confrontations. We'll also be asked to improve our Persona.

Against the Storm

  • June 26, 2025 on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and Switch

Already on PC, this strategy game is also a fantastic city simulator in which we have to rebuild civilization under a torrential downpour. To do this, humans, beavers, lizards, foxes and harpies will have to learn to coexist. Hundreds of modifiers and six distinct biomes are on the menu.

Here's another graphic novel featuring Mark Borja, a high school student trying to live peacefully in a world recovering from catastrophe. But an encounter will set off a chain reaction that will turn our hero's life upside down. We'll have to make choices during dialogues and play mini-games to progress.

Hunter Roulette

Welcome to a post-apocalyptic cyberpunk world in which survivors live in underground cities. They play a game based on tokens and weapons that requires strategy and cunning to win.

Ruffy and the Riverside

  • June 26, 2025 on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch 2, Switch and PC

Let's move on to an open-world 3D action-platformer. Our hero is able to copy and paste certain textures, to turn ice into lava, for example. This game features unique gameplay, 2D puzzles and a vast, magical world that's great fun to explore.

Stasis

  • June 26, 2025 on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and Switch

Initially launched in 2015 on PC, this title is a point & click adventure, horror and sci-fi featuring an isometric view. It features challenging puzzles, a host of fascinating characters and a cinematic soundtrack.

Tamagotchi Plaza

  • June 26, 2025 on Switch 2 and Switch

Last but not least, we close with a new entry in the Tamagotchi franchise. You'll have to look after all these little creatures, managing 12 different stores. It will also be essential to improve our reputation and attract more and more customers. There's local multiplayer for two.
