FBC: Firebreak gets to a slow start with many problems

Remedy Entertainment's first multiplayer game is far from being the success it needed to be. FBC: Firebreak got very average marks from the specialized press, becoming the third lowest-rated title in the Finnish studio's history.

On Steam, FBC didn't exactly shine, with a peak of just 1,992 simultaneous players since its launch on June 17. Also on Valve's store, the title boasts "mixed" ratings, with 66% positive reviews out of the 1,326 published to date.

Upon release, FBC: Firebreak also experienced matchmaking problems and random disconnections during games. Remedy even had to revise all the basic systems in order to make progression faster and more satisfying. The economy of the title has also been completely overhauled.
