It didn't take long for the Switch 2 to knock out some of the competition in Japan. In its homeland, the console has already sold over 1.1 million units.
It has overtaken the Xbox Series, which has sold 679,427 units since its release in November 2020. The Xbox Series S stands at 337,811 sales and the Xbox Series X at 320,762.
The Switch 2 also did better than the PS5 Digital Edition, which sold 975,486 units in Japan.
