Quite a bizarre incident took place in Bennett, Colorado, USA. Some criminals stole several hundred of Switch 2.
A total of 2,810 Switch 2s were stolen from a transport truck. The driver was on his way to deliver the units to the GameStop store in Grapevine, Texas. Since the retail price of the console is $499 in the US, we can estimate the theft at approximately $1.4 million.
Local authorities have yet to find the perps and are trying to understand how the thieves were able to steal so many consoles in one go.
