Warner Bros. Games is going to focus on its four major IPs

Warner Bros. Games is continuing its restructuring and will now focus on successful franchises. Variety reports that the publisher will refocus on its most well-known IPs.

To this end, several new divisions have been created to oversee future Harry Potter, Mortal Kombat, Game of Thrones, and DC Universe releases. Yves Lachance, who currently heads Warner Bros. Games Montreal, now oversees the Harry Potter and Game of Thrones franchises. Shaun Himmerick, head of NetherRealm Studio, is in charge of Mortal Kombat and the DC Universe games.

Finally, Steven Flenory, who works at Warner Bros. Games New York, becomes the publisher's senior vice president of technology and central services. This means he oversees game technology, publishing, as well as customer service, quality assurance, and user research.

All will report to JB Perrette, the General Manager of Worldwide Streaming and Games at Warner Bros. Discovery.
