When filmed, Charles Martinet isn't allowed to do his Mario voice

Back in August 2023, Nintendo announced that voice actor Charles Martinet would no longer be voicing Mario in future Mario games. Quite the sad end after more than 30 years of loyal service.
Recently, Ricky Berwick told X about meeting the actor. The Internet user stated that "unfortunately, he can't do any of the voices on video".
Berwick went on to clarify that this ban only applies when Martinet is being filmed. Off camera, the former voice of Mario is of course free to do as he pleases.
