After 17 years, Nintendo has decided to replace the actress who voices Peach

Samantha Kelly, the actress who has voiced Peach and Toad in all Nintendo games for the past 17 years, announced on her Instagram account that she would not be reprising her roles.
Indeed, the actress said this Friday that Nintendo has chosen to replace her. She had begun giving her voice to Peach in 2007 in Mario Strikers Charged Football and until Princess Peach Showtime in 2024. Kelly says she learned the news on June 5, the day of the Switch 2 launch.
"hank you for so many years of friendship and joy. I’m sad that it’s over, I truly would have wanted to voice Peach and Toad forever. Nintendo let me know yesterday that they decided to recast these roles."
