Bayonetta 3, Smash Bros, Hyrule Warriors and other Switch games run better on Switch 2
, by Thibaut
We've already said that some titles from the first Switch got improvements on Switch 2 without needing an upgrade. Backward compatibility isn't just about getting the game to run.
For example, Batman: Arkham Knight and The Witcher 3 finally feature a framerate firmly locked at 30 frames per second. We now learn that Bayonetta 3 runs at 60 FPS on Switch 2 without the slightest update.
Add to this the fact that Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity also boasts an improved framerate. Finally, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl have had their loading times reduced.
