Konami and Sony may have signed an exclusivity deal for Metal Gear Solid 3 Remake
, by Thibaut
As we know, Sony has always succeeded in signing privileged partnerships with the biggest Japanese publishers. This was notably the case with Square Enix for Final Fantasy VII Remake and Final Fantasy XVI, as well as with Capcom for Street Fighter V. Konami is also among the partners of the manufacturer with exclusivity around Silent Hill 2 on PS5.
Moreover, this publisher may have teamed up with PlayStation for another future project. According to journalist Jez Corden and insider Shpeshal Nick, the remake of Metal Gear Solid 3 should be announced at the next PlayStation Showcase. The game would also have “some kind of exclusivity” on the PS5 side. It is difficult to know whether Konami's title will only be released on Sony's machine or whether it will be a temporary exclusive or even a DLC reserved for PS5 players.
