The Call of Duty 2026 campaign will take place in Korea

While we await the first official information about the next Call of Duty, we're getting some rumors from the one expected in 2026.
The following information comes straight from X insider TheGhostOfHope. He tells us that Call of Duty 2026 is being developed by Infinity Ward and is currently titled “Modern Warfare 사”. This Korean acronym simply means 4. Its presence is explained by the fact that the game's campaign will take place in both North and South Korea.
41, SAS and the Army of the Republic of Korea will be the three factions we'll be able to play as we take down Makarov, as well as a group calling itself “Konni”. Their aim is to unleash a Third World War. The story takes place directly after Modern Warfare III. There will be futuristic technologies and weapons, although the historical context will remain fairly modern.
