Electronic Arts may have finally chosen not to continue with the F1 franchise

Earlier this week, Insider Gaming reported that EA would have chosen to continue its collaboration with F1 until 2027. This would offer great prospects for future racing games.

However, the situation has changed in the last few hours. The EA Sports representative who passed on the information to Insider Gaming has retracted his statement, declaring that nothing has been decided as of now.

"Apologies for the inconvenience, but we’ve been informed that the information we provided earlier today is inaccurate and we don’t have any information at this time."

F1, for its part, declined to give any further details. So, the collaboration between the two entities could well come to an end this year, and F1 25 be the last F1 game developed by EA.
