An HP laptop features a Ryzen AI MAX PRO 385 (Strix Halo)

A new entry on Geekbench reveals an AMD Ryzen AI MAX PRO 385 processor, based on the Strix Halo architecture, integrated in an HP ZBook Ultra G1a laptop. This model features 8 CPU cores and a Radeon 8050S iGPU.

Until now, we had only spotted high-end Ryzen AI MAX+ 395 models. This first appearance of a lower-end model suggests that AMD is starting to distribute less powerful variants.

The test was carried out in HP's Optimized battery mode, with no further details on settings. Compared with the MAX+ 395, this MAX PRO 385 boasts around 17.8% less single-core performance and 38% less multi-core performance. These figures should be interpreted with caution, as Geekbench has not yet included Strix Halo in its official rankings.
