Hunter Schafer could play Zelda in the live-action film

Video game adaptations are all the rage, and Nintendo is no stranger to them. After the incredible Super Mario Bros. movie in April 2023, the Japanese company is working on one for The Legend of Zelda.
This live-action film is due to hit cinemas in March 2027, and a first name has been announced for the future cast. According to DanielRPK, Hunter Schafer has been approached to play Princess Zelda. Mind you, this doesn't mean she'll necessarily join the project, just that her name is circulating for the role.
Hunter Schafer is a 26-year-old American actress who starred in the fifth Hunger Games and Cuckoo.
