Elden Ring Nightreign is well received by critics... but hasn't convinced everyone
, by Thibaut
FromSoftware's first plunge into the world of fully multiplayer games is going pretty good. Indeed, Elden Ring Nightreign, due for release on May 30, has been reviewed by the press.
On OpenCritic, the game scored an average of 79% out of 79 reviews. The Metacritic average is 78% on PS5 (54 reviews), 80% on PC (20 reviews) and 88% on Xbox Series X (4 reviews).
On the positives, we must highlight the exhilarating boss battles, a cooperative formula that works, the quality soundtrack, the satisfying progression and the eight playable classes.
On the downside, the single-player mode is too difficult, there's no endgame, balancing is not always up to scratch and exploration ends up feeling redundant.
