Capcom announces the opening of a new development studio in Osaka

Capcom is back... and it shows! The Japanese publisher has announced its intention to strengthen its position in the game development sector.
To this end, there will be new offices built right next to the company's current headquarters in Osaka. This studio is due to open in 2027, and will let Capcom to welcome up to 100 new employees per year. The multinational has also acquired another plot of land in the same area to build future premises.
On a completely different subject, Capcom has reiterated its intention to use the RE Engine for the creation of future games. The publisher is keen to develop new technologies in order to update its engine as frequently as possible.
