Star Wars Battlefront 2 reaches its highest player count on Steam in over 4 years

Star Wars Battlefront 2 recently enjoyed a surge in popularity, recording a peak of 9777 simultaneous players on Steam - its highest score since January 2021.

Released on the platform in June 2020, the game previously maintained between 2,000 and 5,000 players per day. This peak could be explained by a Steam promotion, the celebration of May 4 (Star Wars Day), or the impact of Andor season 2.
