Dying Light: The Beast changes dubbing voice for Kyle Crane in the French version
, by Quentin
Techland has announced that Dying Light: The Beast, scheduled for summer 2025, will feature a new French voice actor for the character of Kyle Crane.
Benoît DuPac, who lent his voice to Crane in Dying Light in 2015, will not be reprising the role. According to Techland, this choice is intended to remain faithful to the character's evolution, now tougher and more experienced. The studio claims that this difficult and long-considered decision best serves the game and the protagonist's legacy.
The message published on the networks warmly thanks Benoît DuPac for his contribution to the first game. The English version, however, will retain Roger Craig Smith in the role of Kyle Crane.
Techland did not specify why DuPac was not reappointed, but more than ten years have passed since his initial performance.
