Silent Hill f won't be related to the rest of the franchise

We suspected it, but Silent Hill f will be an episode that stands apart from the rest of the franchise. In particular, it will be the first to be set in Japan in the 1960s.

Konami very recently gave us a little update on this title, which still has no release date. Silent Hill f will indeed be a new independent episode within the saga.

The Japanese publisher added that "people who have never played the series can enjoy it".
