Publisher Curve Games (Human Fall Flat) has been acquired for €25.6 million

There's a small acquisition that has taken place in the video game industry today. It involves Curve Games (formerly Curve Divital), a British publisher responsible for titles such as Velocity 2X, The Swapper, For the King and Human Fall Flat.

The English company has been acquired by Nazara Technologies for around 25.6 million euros. The group is based in Mumbai, India. CEO Nitish Mittersain pledges "to develop high-quality games, invest in new titles and support passionate independent creators, in order to build a global gaming powerhouse from India".

Curve Games Executive Chairman Stuart Dinsey also welcomed the tie-up.

"We're joining a group that lives and breathes games and technology, including mobile, where we've barely scratched the surface. With Nazara, we will build on our strengths on console and PC, while remaining true to our independent spirit. It will still be about great games, great studios and great players. Our next chapter begins here."
