The First Berserker: Khazan failed to meet Nexon's sales targets
, by Thibaut
Last March, the publisher Nexon released The First Berserker: Khazan on consoles and PC. This umpteenth souls-like game was well received by gamers.
Alas, the South Korean company recently announced that the game failed to meet its sales expectations. Despite this, Nexon believes that the title remains a success. Over the next few years, the company intends to further promote its Dungeon & Fighter series, to which The First Berserker: Khazan belongs, in the West.
Little-known to Western audiences, Dungeon & Fighter is a multiplayer RPG launched in 2005 that has generated over $22 billion in cumulative revenues to 2023. Several spin-offs have been released so far, including The First Berserker: Khazan.
