ZOTAC's ZONE handheld with a Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 will run on Manjaro Linux

ZOTAC has confirmed a presentation for the ZONE handheld featuring a Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 processor for Computex 2025.

This model had already been announced at CES 2025 as one of the first Strix Point portable devices, but has still to be released after more than five months of waiting, raising concerns about the whole affair.

The main new feature is the operating system. Unlike the version presented at CES, this new edition will run Manjaro Linux, specially optimized for portable consoles, and not Windows 11.

However, ZOTAC did not present a specific user interface, nor explain the differences with the Windows version.
