Warner Bros. Games reports another sharp drop in revenues for the last quarter
, by Thibaut
The American publisher has released the latest figures for its video game division. And, as we feared, they are not very encouraging.
In the quarter ending March 31, 2025, Warner Bros. Games saw its revenues fall by 48% year-on-year. Once again, this drop is attributed to the failure of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League released last year, which failed to live up to expectations. It should also be noted that there were no new releases for the studio during the first quarter of 2025.
Warner Bros. does point out, however, that Mortal Kombat 1 and Hogwarts Legacy are still selling very well. The Minecraft movie also falls into the company's success category, with its worldwide box office of almost $900 million.
