Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is a resounding success despite significant issues on PC

The launch of the latest Star Wars game didn't go smoothly on PC, as this version is affected by many performance issues. Currently, Respawn's title has a mixed review score on Steam, with an "average" rating. Only 52% of the over 11,000 reviews are positive. The American studio couldn't ignore these criticisms and made a mea-culpa on Twitter while reassuring players.

" [...] the team is working on fixes that we believe will improve performance across a wide range of configurations. We are committed to addressing these issues as soon as possible, but each fix requires extensive testing to ensure that we do not introduce new problems."

The issues seem to mainly impact computers with high-end components and certain specific configurations. Patience will be required. Nevertheless, this hasn't prevented Star Wars Jedi: Survivor from finding its audience. On Steam, it's even the second-best launch for the franchise with a peak of 67,855 players simultaneously. Only LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga did better with 82,500 users.
