For the time being, Electronic Arts has no intention of raising the price of its games

In recent weeks, Nintendo and Microsoft have decided to increase the price of their games, so many expect to see all publishers in the sector go for a similar decision.

For the time being, this will not be the case for Electronic Arts. During his call with investors, CEO Andrew Wilson was quite clear on the subject. He stated that "from the point of view of the games we offer, we have not at this stage changed our current strategy". Of course, this does not rule out a possible price increase in the near future.

In any case, Wilson reiterated his commitment to offering quality titles, whatever the price tag.

"At the end of the day, whether we're doing something that costs $1, $10 or $100, our goal is always to deliver incredible quality and value to our player base."

"And what we've found over time is that if we can marry quality and value, our business will remain strong, resilient and continue to grow."
