NVIDIA has confirmed that the RTX 5060 graphics cards for desktop and notebook PCs will be available on May 19.
The desktop version is equipped with 3,840 CUDA cores and 8 GB of GDDR7 memory, for an announced price of $299. It follows on from the RTX 5060 Ti released last month, whose 8GB version drew some criticism.
The RTX 5060 does not aim for the same level of performance, but the memory configuration has failed to convince the many testers.
On the same day, the first notebooks featuring an RTX 5060 will also go on sale. Only one model is planned: the RTX 5060 Laptop GPU, with 3,328 CUDA cores and 8 GB memory.
For this segment, NVIDIA is facing Intel's Battlemage B580 and B570 (12 GB and 10 GB), while AMD is due to release the RX 9060 XT during Computex.
