NVIDIA has reportedly suspended sales of the RTX 5090D in China

According to Chinese media outlet Board Channels, NVIDIA has stopped accepting orders for the RTX 5090D in China. This board, based on the GB202 Blackwell GPU, had been designed to comply with US restrictions on the export of advanced GPUs, notably by limiting its AI capabilities.
Despite similar specifications to the classic RTX 5090 (cores, memory, power consumption), the 5090D is now subject to a complete ban on sales on the Chinese market. NVIDIA has reportedly cancelled deliveries scheduled for the second quarter and frozen orders already placed.
Only the RTX 5080, featuring the GB203 GPU, will remain available in the region. NVIDIA has not officially commented on this decision, but the measure has already been in force since the beginning of the second quarter.
