Intel's Xe3 Celestial GPUs are still on track

Intel is still working on the Xe3 GPUs, codenamed Celestial. According to data miner Haze, LinkedIn profiles of Intel engineers confirm that the pre-silicon hardware modeling phase is underway.
Intel's Tom Petersen had already announced that the Xe3 design had been finalized. Once the pre-silicon validation is done, test production could be next.
Celestial is initially planned as an “ultra enthusiast" GPU, the successor to Battlemage. Intel has yet to announce the number of models planned and the platforms targeted (desktop or laptop).
