Blades of Fire, MercurySteam's next action-adventure title, gets a new gameplay video

Announced last February, Blades of Fire is the next game from Spanish studio MercurySteam. MercurySteam's credits include Castlevania: Lords of Shadow and several entries in the Metroid franchise.

This week, the Game Informer website published a 17-minute gameplay session for this new license. We get a glimpse of the title's fantasy world, the monsters we'll face and, of course, the combat system. This is a true spiritual sequel to Castlevania: Lords of Shadow.

Blades of Fire is scheduled for release on May 22 on PS5, Xbox Series and PC (via the Epic Games Store).
