, by Thibaut
Available for around two months now, Assassin's Creed Shadows has enjoyed quite a success with gamers and critics alike. While Ubisoft has so far refrained from releasing any sales figures, the game will still get some new content very soon.
In a new video, the developers have outlined the content that will be released during the title's first year of life. Starting in May, a new story called The Work of Luis Frois will appear. It will bring new allies, abilities and other additional activities. Parkour animations for characters and additional elements for Photo mode will also be added.
In June, a second story will be added, with an extra difficulty level, immersion options and other customization options for both cinematics and gameplay. New Game+ will also be added to the game in June.
And let's not forget the Claws of Awaji expansion, which will be free for players who those who pre-ordered Assassin's Creed Shadows. This DLC will include a vast region to explore, and will extend the story of both Naoe and Yasuke beyond the epilogue of the base game.
