Nintendo claims that Switch 2 Joy-Con vibrations will make less noise
, by Thibaut
Nintendo's future console will feature a whole series of improvements. This will be the case for the Joy-Con controllers, which will benefit from a mouse mode, magnetic joints and a number of other arrangements.
On the page dedicated to Switch games that can be played on Switch 2, the Japanese manufacturer has specified an interesting detail. When discussing the compatibility problems that may be encountered on certain titles, Nintendo stated that the Joy-Con 2 will be less noisy. In fact, the intensity of the vibrations has been reduced compared to the Joy-Cons of the first Switch.
So, on a game such as Everybody 1-2-Switch!, it will be less easy to find the controller during the Joy-Con Hide and Seek mini-game. What's more, we've learned that unlike the Switch 1's right Joy-Con, the Switch 2's right Joy-Con has no infrared camera. This was used on titles such as 1-2 Switch.
In the event of a compatibility problem, it will be perfectly possible to connect a Switch 1 Joy-Con to the Switch 2.
