The original game's creators are not credited in the Until Dawn film

The feature film based on the video game Until Dawn arrived in cinemas this week. This adaptation got mixed reviews, with an average of 51% on Rotten Tomatoes.

However, a former narrative director at Sony Interactive Entertainment noted on LinkedIn that the game's creators were not credited at the end of the famous film.

"As a former narrative director of Sony Interactive Entertainment and PlayStation, who was firmly told that the license I had personally created would NEVER be attributed to me since I was an employee (no royalties, no control, no ownership, no recognition), I find it hard to understand the difference between the favors done to Neil Druckmann and those done to other members of the company."

"I just saw Until Dawn, where the film's director, screenwriters, etc. were all credited. But instead of mentioning the developers who created this ICONIC game that you're obviously proud of, you simply state that the film is “based on Sony's game."

Graham Reznick, the screenwriter of the 2015 game Until Dawn, has launched a petition to ask Sony to add him and the creators of the PS4 title to the film's end credits.
