Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 has enraptured the press

The verdict is in for Clair Obscur: Expedition 33! The very first game from French studio Sandfall Interactive will be released this April 24, 2025 on PS5, Xbox Series and PC, and will be included directly in Game Pass.

At long last, we can discover the opinion of the specialized press which, at the time of writing, has awarded the RPG an average of 92% on OpenCritic (55 reviews). Meanwhile, the RPG has a Metacritic average of 92% on PS5 (42 reviews), 92% on PC (33 reviews) and 95% on Xbox Series (8 reviews).

The game features a fascinating story, magnificent art direction, charismatic characters, excellent soundtrack and extensive customization options.

On the negative side, menus are not always easy to read, the technical aspect is far from perfect and the game's structure needs could be better balanced.
