The gaming performance for the 8GB RTX 5060 Ti is well below that of the 16GB one
, by Quentin
According to a test published by Hardware Unboxed, the GeForce RTX 5060 Ti 8GB performs significantly worse than the 16GB version. In some games, the difference is as much as 589% in 1% low. In particular, the 8 GB version suffers from lower graphics quality, crashes and incompatibilities in several titles.
NVIDIA did not send samples of the 8 GB card to the press, which delayed independent testing. The 8GB version remains functional for undemanding competitive games, but shows its limits in recent, high-resolution games. Performance is also affected by the PCIe interface, with further discrepancies expected on PCIe 4.0 or 3.0 systems.
