Valve may have some competition with its Steam Deck. In a few days, Asus will unveil its handheld PC, the ROG Ally. The good news is that it's not necessary to wait for the scheduled presentation on May 11th to get an idea of the performance of this portable console.
Expected features include a 7-inch 120 Hz LCD screen, 16 GB of RAM, an AMD Radeon Navi3 Graphics, a 512 GB NVMe M.2 SSD, Dolby Atmos sound, and an AMD Z1 Extreme processor. Despite this relatively robust configuration, the price should remain reasonable.
According to the leaker SnoopyTech, this version of the ROG Ally will be sold for $699.99. Note that cheaper alternatives with less storage will also be announced by Asus.
