The RTX 5060 for laptops comes out in May
, by Quentin
NVIDIA has announced the laptop version of the RTX 5060, based on the GB206 GPU. It features 3,328 CUDA cores, compared with the 3,840 cores for the desktop version, and 8 GB of memory.
The TDP ranges from 45W to 100W, with a Dynamic Boost of up to 125W depending on the manufacturer. NVIDIA claims that performance will be close to that of the desktop model, despite the reduced number of cores.
Several manufacturers, including high-end brands, will be releasing models equipped with this graphics card. The first laptops are expected to start at $1099, i.e. $100 more than the equivalent RTX 4060 models. Availability is scheduled for May, at the same time as the desktop version.
