Here's some possible new info on the next Call of Duty: Black Ops
, by Thibaut
Back in December 2023, we got the first rumors about Call of Duty 2025. We learned that it would be a direct sequel to Black Ops 2, with a story set in the 2030s.
This time, it's a leaker named Bigbyy who has shared on Reddit what appears to be some brand new details. He claims that Black Ops 7 takes place in 2035, and that it will follow the story of the second Black Ops. Woods and Mason are said to be in the cast.
The campaign could be played solo, or in co-op with up to four players. Omnidirectional movement will make a comeback, and a there's a vast open map called Avalon in the works.
In Zombies mode, characters such as Dempsey will return via variants of the multiverse. Each game will be divided into rounds, and the TranZit story mode will be remade. A very large map and several difficulty modes are also mentioned.
Finally, multiplayer would feature a 32 vs. 32 mode and several iconic maps redesigned with a futuristic look to match the game's era. Progression on Black Ops 6 multiplayer should be transferable.
