Mario Kart World will feature a 120 FPS mode

Nintendo will try to show what the Switch 2 is capable of with Mario Kart World. And it just so happens that the famous racing game will include a graphics mode that will be to the liking of thrill-seekers.

Indeed, the title will feature a range of fluidity never seen before in the franchise: a 120 FPS mode. While we don't have all the details just yet, it's highly likely that it will have a few graphical concessions to reach this.

According to Engadget journalist Sam Rutherford, the 120 FPS mode is "pretty damn good" and "racing has never been that fluid on a Nintendo machine".
