The Elder Scrolls Online shows its new season and first pass

ZeniMax Online Studios has decided to give up on releasing one major expansion per year for The Elder Scrolls Online, going for seasons instead.

This will begin on June 2 on PC and Mac, then on June 18 on PlayStation and Xbox with the first part of “Seasons of the Worm Cult". The new story will be included in the Content Pass 2025, which takes place in a forbidden zone called the tropical island of Solstice. Players will encounter well-known characters, as this adventure is in fact a continuation of the main quest that came out back in 2014.

Having purchased the famous pass, it will also be possible to access the unique Writhing Wall event, which will transform the game's universe. The second part of the Season of the Worm Cult will begin in the fourth quarter, with the continuation of the story and the chance to explore the second part of the island.

Finally, the Content Pass 2025 includes dungeon packs. Fallen Banners is available now and Feast of Shadows will be accessible from the third quarter of 2025. Players can now go through the free prologue quest.
