The PlayStation Portal is getting new options for streaming games via cloud
, by Thibaut
Last November, Sony added the ability to play games via the cloud from PlayStation Portal. For now, this feature is available in beta and exclusive to PlayStation Plus Premium subscribers.
This Wednesday, April 9, new options have been added to the interface. Players can now sort compatible titles from the Portal streaming screen. It is also now possible to capture game sequences by pressing the create button. Screenshots and other clips will be sent to the PlayStation App and stored there for 14 days.
A game queue will appear when the streaming server is saturated, and a game can be paused during a session. An inactivity notification will warn inactive users before they are automatically disconnected. Finally, a reaction screen to assess streaming quality may be displayed at the end of a session.
