In addition to the Switch 2 version, Hollow Knight: Silksong is still planned for the Switch 1

While everyone was waiting for it, we only got to see Hollow Knight: Silksong for five seconds during the Nintendo Direct for the Switch 2. It was in the midst of a montage of several games announced for the console.

However, the announcement of a Switch 2 version of Team Cherry's title raised doubts as to whether it would be released on the original Switch. That's why Matthew Griffin, who handles publishing and marketing on the game, has reassured the community on X.

He explained that Hollow Knight: Silksong will be released on both Switch 2 and Switch this year.
