Nobody expected it, but Blue Prince is one of the best games of the year

This week begins with the release of a game that has left a lasting impression on those who were able to try it in advance. Blue Prince will be released on April 10, 2025, and be included in PlayStation Plus Extra and Game Pass.

At the time of writing, Dogubomb's title has an OpenCritic score of 91% (31 reviews). On Metacritic, the average is 92% on PC (24 reviews).

Reviewers praise the game's incredible depth, its many secrets, addictive gameplay mechanics and overall cleverness.

On the downside, the title can only be played in English, and getting started can be a little tedious. Indeed, this is a narrative roguelike in the style of Outer Wilds. The player only retains his knowledge with each new attempt. The aim of the game is to find and open room 46 of a 45-room mansion.
