The Switch 2 eShop won't have music
, by Thibaut
During the Wii era, the eShop was accompanied by some very catchy tunes. But when it came to the Switch, the eShop became very quiet (and ever slower).
This won't change on Switch 2, as the console's producer, Kouichi Kawamoto, has confirmed that the new machine's eShop won't feature any music.
Kawamoto explained that this was due to the fact that most games in the store are accompanied by one or more presentation videos, and the manufacturer “didn't want to intrude on that".
