Ubisoft is reportedly working on a turn-based strategy game in the Rainbow Six universe

The French publisher is likely to be working on a promising unannounced title. Insider Gaming tells us more today with information gathered from two separate sources.

Ubisoft is said to be working on a turn-based tactical game in which players will be able to embody the various operators of Rainbow Six Siege. A top-view camera will be used, in the style of Diablo IV or XCOM. According to one source, this title will be a sort of XCOM enhanced with cinematics.

The game's objectives will be fairly classic, involving attacking buildings or rescuing hostages using the skills of operators. The game's lifespan is currently estimated at between 25 and 30 hours. Content may be cut before release.

Ubisoft is planning to release the game on PS5, Xbox Series, PC and potentially Switch 2 in one or two years' time.
