Following patch 2.0, The Last of Us Part II Remastered has a big bug on PS5

Naughty Dog has rolled out a patch that restores progress on upgrades and skills unlocked during the campaign.

In parallel with the game's release on PC this week, Naughty Dog has also rolled out update 2.0 for The Last of Us Part II Remastered on PS5.

The patch adds new content for the No Return roguelike mode, with Bill and Marlene as playable characters, four new maps and additional trophies, as well as an Intergalactic jacket for Ellie.

Alas, the update also comes with an annoying bug. Players have reported on the forums that both Ellie's and Abby's skills and weapon upgrades have been reset, all without any way of restoring them. This also affects the New Game + and Permadeath modes, which is even more damaging.

Naughty Dog has yet to comment on the matter.
