Switch 2 screenshots and gameplay videos can be sent directly to a smartphone

Revolution beware (or not)! Nintendo is going to make it more convenient to retrieve and share screenshots from the Switch 2.
While there's a button dedicated to recording still, the Japanese company has decided to simplify the way we store our photos and videos. These can now be uploaded directly to the new Nintendo Switch App on mobile.
Like the Xbox and PlayStation apps, the Nintendo Switch App will store up to 100 screenshots or videos for 30 days. From the app, these can be saved to a smartphone or tablet and shared on social networks. A Nintendo Switch Online subscription is not required to do this.
The app will also house new features for various games such as Splatoon 3, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, Animal Crossing: New Horizons and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
