The Intel Panther Lake will be released in 2026, with production set to begin at the end of the year

At the Vision 2025 event, Intel confirmed that Panther Lake, the next generation of Core Ultra 300 processors, will be released in 2026. This model will be reserved for notebooks; no desktop version was mentioned.

Panther Lake is described as combining the energy efficiency of Lunar Lake with the performance of Arrow Lake, and is based on the 18A process. Intel expects volume production by the end of the year.

The presentation also mentions all markets using current architectures, including dedicated GPUs. However, no new features were announced for the Arc range.

We can't rule out a limited launch in 2025 just yet, as with Lunar Lake, but widespread availability is expected in 2026. Desktop PCs remain absent from Intel's immediate priorities, with the emphasis on laptops and AI uses.
