Devs advise against installing the latest NVIDIA drivers on RTX 30 and 40

Several game developers, including those of inZoi and The First Berserker: Khazan, recommend against using the latest NVIDIA drivers on RTX 30 and RTX 40 GPUs, due to stability issues, crashes and performance losses.

For RTX 40s, it's best to use driver 566.36 (December 2024). RTX 30s are also affected, though less systematically. RTX 50s should use drivers 572.83, as previous versions are not compatible.

The 572.XX drivers had already caused black screens on RTX 50s at launch, but these have since been corrected. No official fix has yet been announced for RTX 30/40.

I've been pretty vocal about the issues I've been experiencing with the newer Nvidia drivers, any 572.xx version, and have been told it's my PC by many people (it's not). The devs of InZoi and Khazan have now recommend people use 565.xx drivers due to possible instability. pic.twitter.com/UUhebpZvu3
