Many third-party devs have yet to get Switch 2 dev kits

Only a few hours to go before the official presentation of the Switch 2! The Nintendo Direct will be broadcast this Wednesday, April 2 from 2pm.
Last week, the Insider Gaming site reported that a three-phase games launch was planned. The first phase will include exclusives, followed by titles from third-party studios.
The Digital Foundry YouTube channel now seems to validate this strategy. According to it, many external developers still don't have the console's development kit in their possession. This mainly concerns small and medium-sized studios. That said, Electronic Arts, Ubisoft and Square Enix have undoubtedly been favored by Nintendo.
So, while games from third-party studios should be present at the Switch 2 launch, others will have to wait several months due to this selective approach on Nintendo's part.
