The Zelda movie could be just the first in a trilogy

This week, Nintendo confirmed that its live-action film The Legend of Zelda will be released on March 26, 2027. Filming will begin in New Zealand in November 2025 and should be completed in April 2026.
However, insider Daniel Richtman explains that the feature film will be part of a trilogy. Sony Pictures and Nintendo are said to be interested in signing actors for three films over six years. Of course, we assume that sequels will only be possible if the first adaptation meets with success.
Finally, the website Production List has provided a synopsis of the film. We'll be following Link, "a young warrior destined to protect the magical kingdom of Hyrule from the forces of darkness". Of course, he will have to face Ganon.
